Core Values:

Authority of Scripture: recognizing the Bible as God's written Word and our authority. (Joshua 1:7, Isaiah 40:8, Matthew 5:17-18, Mark 12:24 and 13:31, 2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 13:8)

God-centered worship: committing ourselves to worship God in a liturgical fashion: congregationally, in small groups, and individually. (Exodus 8:1, Psalm 29:2, John 4:23, 1 Corinthians 4:26, Hebrews 12:28, Revelation 15:4)

Prayer: Committing ourselves to daily prayer seeking to hear God speak, and to under gird the church and its programs with prayer. (Deuteronomy 4:7, Matthew 7:7, Luke 11:13, Philippians 4:6)

Evangelism: Dedicating our lives to share the Gospel (“Good News”) of Christ with people far and near in ways that are truthful and effective. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Romans 1:16-17 and 10:14-15, 1 Corinthians 2:2-8)

Unity: Living in love and charity with each other and, through our love for one another, testifying to the world that we are Christ's disciples. (John 13:34-35, Ephesians 4:1-6)

Stewardship: Recognizing we have a generous gift from God by offering our possessions, time and talents to His service. (Deuteronomy 14:23 and 16:17, Malachi 3:10, Acts 2:45)

Fellowship: Recognizing we are a Christian Community sharing our common life in Christ. (John 13:34-35, Acts 2:42, Romans 12:10, Ephesians 2:19)

Service: Proclaiming Christ’s love by serving others—particularly the un-churched, the poor, and those who have no one to help them—in this way “loving our neighbors as ourselves.” (Joshua 14:14a, Matthew 25:35-40, Romans 12:1, Galatians 6:9-10)

Spiritual Gifts: Recognizing, honoring and using the spiritual gifts the Holy Spirit has given to our community. (Isaiah 11:2, Romans 12:6-8 and 1 Corinthians 12:8-11)

Growth: Seeking to grow in the knowledge and love of God through personal and group Bible study and through proclaiming, teaching, practicing and living Biblical values. (Matthew 13:31-32, Romans 8:29, 1 Corinthians 3:7, Ephesians 4:15, Philippians 3:14, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 John 2:6)
